Comtes Lafon’s Meursault Les Charmes comes from 1.7 hectares of biodynamically farmed vines in the upper part of the cru. The 2022 was fermented with native yeasts and aged over two winters in mostly used oak. The wine emphasizes texture and complexity over overt weight.

Ripe apple, marzipan, and light smoke unfold in a dense, creamy frame. It’s broad and layered but finely balanced—a powerful, age-worthy expression of Charmes.

"The 2022 Volnay Village was almost completely de-stemmed and comes from the young vines in Santenots. It has a perfumed nose of black plum, raspberry fruit, and a touch of dried iris flower. This Volnay has crunchy tannins and pure black fruit with a slightly chalky textured finish. Lots of depth, considering this is a Village Cru, perhaps betraying its Santenot origins." -Neal Martin
