From Emmanuel Rouget’s inaugural vintage, this 1985 Échezeaux comes from the Grand Cru’s old-vine Pinot Noir, farmed in the style of his uncle Henri Jayer. Grapes were fully destemmed and gently handled, with élevage in fine French oak to preserve depth and structure.

A 25mm ullage level indicates well-maintained provenance for a wine of this age. This bottle captures both Rouget’s early craftsmanship and the historic terroir of Vosne-Romanée’s famed Échezeaux.
