What is this wine?
Pascal Clément Meursault 2022 is a classic white Burgundy from the heart of the Côte de Beaune. Pascal Clément, formerly of Coche-Dury and Domaine Henri Boillot, founded his own small négociant house in Savigny-lès-Beaune, sourcing fruit from sustainably farmed parcels across the Côte d’Or. His Meursault comes from vineyards on the lower slopes of the village, planted on limestone and marl soils that give the wine its hallmark richness and minerality. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in French oak (about 20–25% new) for a year, this cuvée showcases balance, elegance, and precision.

Why get this wine?
Clément’s wines have quietly become insider favorites for offering true Burgundian finesse at fair prices. The 2022 vintage combines ripe, sun-kissed fruit with the freshness and tension that define great Meursault. This bottling delivers the creamy texture and hazelnut notes expected of the appellation, but with Clément’s restrained, mineral-driven touch — ideal for drinkers seeking purity over opulence.

What does this wine taste like?
Rich yet refined, with aromas of lemon curd, white peach, hazelnut, and brioche. The palate is textured and balanced, with a long finish marked by chalky minerality and subtle oak spice.

When should you drink this wine?
Drink 2025–2033. Serve cool (not cold) with roast chicken, lobster, or creamy mushroom dishes. A brief decant can reveal its depth and layered complexity.

Pascal Clement's first break was being brought up in the heart of the Côte d’Or, in the village of Savigny-lès-Beaune. This is a very short drive to Meursault, where he was able to land a job with Coche-Dury! There, he worked as Coche’s right-hand man, raising vines and making wine alongside the great master.

The advantage of working with Coche goes well beyond absorbing his wisdom. It also opens doors. When he left Coche to set up his own shop in 2012, he found 15 small vine-holders who were happy to work with him. Ever since, Pascal has farmed these plots himself, producing wine under his own name.
