This Weeks Tastings
Wednesday January 22nd
Pacific Northwest Tasting with Fausse Piste and Teutonic Wines from 5 to 7pm- If there are two wineries from the Pacific Northwest that best define natural wines they would Fausse Piste and Teutonic. With Fausse Piste Rhone focus and Teutonic's Germanic/Alsatian leanings their wines run the entire gamut. This will be a super diverse tasting you won't want to miss.
Thursday January 23rd
Classic Riojas from CVNE from 5 to 7pm- So often our answer to the question of what one should open for a week night dinner is Rioja. Tempranillo is an infinitely universal variety that can pair with a wide variety of foods and please the full spectrum of palates. CVNE, one of the old-school Rioja producers, is a fantastic winery to become acquainted with for just this reason. Stop by and see what will quickly become a household favorite.
Friday January 24th
Cali meets Italy with Springboard Wine Company from 5 to 7pm- At face value it might seem like this is a bit of a random duo to be paired together for a tasting. But if it weren't for our Mediterranean climate and the intrepid Italian Americans who planted many of the vineyards throughout California our great state would be decidedly less vinous. Join us for a fun tasting of Californian and Italian wines that we love to drink.
Featured in our weekly newsletter we're excited to be offering Syrah from Bedrock Wine Co., the 2017 release of Mickael Bourg Cornas, a selection of Sancerres and Pouilly-Fume Gitton Pere et Fils, and everyday Burlotto wines from the 2018 vintage.
