Chardonnay from one of Burgundy's most underrated white wine villages—with views directly onto the famous Corton hillside. Domaine Cornu-Camus (est. 1981, run by the next generation) farms this 0.47-hectare parcel in Pernand-Vergelesses organically. Vines planted in the 1980s and 2000s on the western side of the village. Vinified in barrique with regular bâtonnage. Pernand-Vergelesses whites often offer Puligny-level minerality at a fraction of the price—one of Burgundy's best-kept secrets for value-conscious white Burgundy lovers.

Left Burgundy

Cornu-Camus is an old-school producer who lives and mostly works in Hautes-Côtes' hills above Beaune, although they do have a smattering of holdings in the Côte d’Or, including two parcels of village level Pinot Noir in Pernand. Like so many producers these days, a new generation has made huge improvements (better farming, lower yields, more hands-off wine-making).
