Lafon-Rochet lies about a football field away from Chateau Lafite Rothschild. It is not a Pauillac however, as it is just over the border in Saint-Estéphe. Quality has very much been on the rise in recent years.

Textured, chalky wet stone and a grainy element with tobacco and liquorice. Impressive complexity and drama. Sophisticated, intellectual, luminous and detailed.
