Jacques Carillon farms a 0.55 ha parcel of Les Champs Canet, planted in 1973 by his father on the northern edge of Puligny, bordering Meursault. The old vines and marl-limestone soils yield a Premier Cru of quiet power and fine floral lift, true to Carillon’s restrained, terroir-first style.

The 2023 was fermented and aged 12 months in barrel (20% new oak), then spent 6 months in stainless steel before bottling. It shows precision and depth, with chalky minerality and graceful tension.

Left Cote de Beaune

The name of Carillon is now synonymous with the best of Puligny-Montrachet. Louis Carillon continued his family’s centuries long tradition of producing excellent wines that focus on the taut minerality of Chardonnay from this famous village. In 2010 the estate was split between the brothers Jacque and François.
