The Saurel family of Domaine Saint-Damien has been farming grapes and making wine in the hamlet of Gigondas for several generations now. Currently Joel and son Romain are now at the reigns and with the exception of a few cellar updates they have changed very little, follow the long traditions of their predecessors.
