"The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Village has a well-balanced bouquet with brambly red fruit, crushed stone and orange blossom. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fine definition, a little riper and more opulent than the ‘19 with a persistent, candied orange peel tinged finish." -Neal Martin

"Soaring from the glass with scents of raspberries, plums and cherries, mingled with inviting nuances of peonies and dark chocolate, Lachaux's 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Village is medium to full-bodied, velvety and enveloping, with lively acids and exquisitely refined tannins that frame a deep and sapid core of fruit." -William Kelley

"Higher elevation and an exposition tilted northwards gives a cooler edge to this wine. Very perfumed, it has poised raspberry aromas and perfect Chambolle typicity. Yet it's denser than expected, compact rather than robust or overtly tannic. The finish is limpid, though it seems to lack a little drive on the finish. But it's persistent and stylish."
