Distributor's Notes: Organic with no added sulfites. Sumoll Blanc, Picpoul Blanc, and Malvasia from the mountains outside of Barcelona. Sumoll Blanc was light pressed. Picapoll Blanc was macerated with Malvasia for 3 days. Spontaneous fermentation for 29 days, then a light lees work was done for 2 months. No fining and no filtration.
Light yellow. Perfumed and citric hints in nose. The mouthfeel is dense, with a fresh texture and aromas of white
fresh fruit. There is great balance between the acidity of the Sumoll Blanc and the volume of Picpoul Blanc.
The name of the winery comes from before the year 1488 when Eulalia Serra was the owner of the estate called Casa
Serra which later took the name of Can Planes when she married Pedro Planes.
Winery Bellaserra arises from the origins of the house to name a project that aims to recover the origins of the vine
linked to the history of the estate and produce wines with a catalan identity selecting the best plots of Catalonia.
