Château Marquis de Terme is a Fourth Growth in Margaux with deep gravel soils and a history dating back to the 17th century. The 2015 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot from a warm, balanced vintage.

Aged in French oak, it shows dark fruit, fine herbs, and polished tannins with Margaux’s signature elegance. A structured yet approachable wine with classic Left Bank character.

"The 2015 Marquis de Terme was picked from September 10 to October 1 and matured in 50% new oak. It is a vintage that I have enjoyed in the past, and this bottle compensates for a questionable showing at Southwold. Plenty of blackberry and grilled meat notes appear on the nose, which is powerful with ample delineation and freshness. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins. It's linear on the entry with a fine bead of acidity, one of the spiciest vintages in recent years, with a tingle of black pepper on the aftertaste. This 2015 deserves longer in bottle. Tasted at the Marquis de Terme vertical." -Neal Martin
