Planted on steep, rocky soils in the Diamond Mountain district, it was aged in French oak to develop structure, concentration, and classic Napa minerality.

Now decades on, it shows ripe cassis, blackberry, graphite, and tobacco layered with cedar and forest floor. The palate remains structured yet supple, with fine-grained tannins and persistent acidity—an iconic magnum for collectors and long-term aging.
