"This is 85% Nerello Mascalese with a 15% mix of other local red grapes sourced from two excellent sites with old vines, Pietramarina and Verzella. The Eduardo Torres Acosta 2022 Nerello Mascalese Versante Nord shows blue and black fruits with blackcurrant and something sweeter like blueberry. The wine's bright primary tones cede to a medium-bodied texture with a long and polished mouthfeel. This is a release of 18,000 bottles with a red wax capsule." -Monica Larner
