From the producer: "Deep bluish-purple colour, as opaque as a young Vintage Port. Aromas of blackberry and cassis with hints of mint and eucalyptus, ending on a note of tar and spice. Concentrated on the palate; dark plum, liquorice and chocolate flavours, balanced by a wonderful fresh acidity and a persistent, taut finish."

"This is the latest in a series of special releases under the Six Grapes label. It comes from Graham's south-facing vineyards on the Douro north bank. The wine is of vintage Port qualityโ€”rich, but with some fine tannins. The jammy red fruits are lifted by acidity and by the fine perfumed character. "
