From the producer: "Deep bluish-purple colour, as opaque as a young Vintage Port. Aromas of blackberry and cassis with hints of mint and eucalyptus, ending on a note of tar and spice. Concentrated on the palate; dark plum, liquorice and chocolate flavours, balanced by a wonderful fresh acidity and a persistent, taut finish."

"This is the latest in a series of special releases under the Six Grapes label. It comes from Graham's south-facing vineyards on the Douro north bank. The wine is of vintage Port quality—rich, but with some fine tannins. The jammy red fruits are lifted by acidity and by the fine perfumed character. "
