"The 2022 Tokaj Furmint Tokaj Furmint (Hidden Treasures / Moric Project Nr 1) is intense and super floral on the nose that combines dark and smoky notes from the volcanic terroir with white blossoms from the Furmint grape. Dense and intense on the palate, this is a rich and mouth-filling, nutty-flavored (walnuts!) Furmint with a dense texture and tannic grip rather than saline or crystalline elegance. The wine is mouthfilling but still doesn't sing at this stage. The wine is mineral and complex yet still closed (as if in a capsule), yet it shows more finesse and saline vitality in a big Burgundy glass. 12.5% stated alcohol. Diam cork." -Stephan Reinhardt
