SW Lake Balaton, Hungary. Grape: Irsai Olivér grape (Hungarian white wine variety, cross-bred between Pozsonyi and Pearl of Csaba in 1930. It ripens early and has a distinctive Muscat character. Byodynamic. A high percentage of their wines are skin fermented and aged in large clay amphorae. They use their natural yeasts and there is no fining and filtration and only a very little added sulphite before bottling.
