"The 2018 Brut Nature et Non-Dosรฉ Premier Cru is a blend of half Chardonnay, half Pinot Noir harvested in Vrigny and vinified in foudre. No sulfites were added. An initial whiff of clove and lemony marzipan is most unusual. The palate also has this almost soapy almond vibe that detracts from the actual wine. Loose mousse, salty lees and fine freshness are there but lose themselves towards the finish. Borderline case, as some may enjoy this. Zero dosage." -Antonio Galloni
