After years of batting around the idea, Kevin O’Connor, wine director at Spago Beverly Hills and wine salesman Matt Licklider, started the Lioco label with the goal of producing pure and transparent wines that favor nuance over power. They hired like minded winemakers and by 2006 their wines were starting to receive critical attention and rave reviews from the few folks that could get their hands on them.Over the years Lioco has consistently produced impressive terroir driven wines that offer both complexity and pleasure.
