What is this wine?
Neyers Vineyards, founded by Bruce and Barbara Neyers in the early 1990s, is known for combining Old World sensibility with classic California fruit. Their Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from select hillside vineyards across Napa, vinified with native yeasts and aged in French oak for balance and refinement. The 2018 vintage was one of Napa’s great years—long, even, and moderate—producing structured, elegant Cabernets with excellent aging potential.
Why get this wine?
This wine delivers serious Napa Valley Cabernet character—dark fruit, polish, and structure—at a more approachable price point than many of the valley’s cult names. Neyers emphasizes balance and terroir over excess ripeness, making this a Cabernet that appeals to both California and Bordeaux drinkers. The superb 2018 vintage adds pedigree and longevity.
What does this wine taste like?
Blackberry, cassis, and plum layered with cedar, graphite, and a hint of mocha. Full-bodied yet balanced, with fine tannins, bright acidity, and a long, savory finish.
