Sandro begin rejuvenating his family’s small estate back in the early 1970s when most of the wine production was in bulk reds sent up to Germany and Switzerland.
Sandro wanted to focus on quality over quantity, and he did just that. Today his children Marco and Elena are running the operation. Farming is organic (not certified) and harvest is always by hand (tractors don’t really work in these vineyards). They make a whole range of single vineyard wines, riservas and sfurzato too.
