Case Basse, founded by Gianfranco Soldera in 1972, is one of Tuscany’s most revered estates. The 2020 vintage marks the first fully managed by the Soldera family following his passing. Produced from 100% Sangiovese grown on a biodiverse, 8-hectare estate in Montalcino, it reflects a steadfast commitment to purity and terroir.

Fermentation occurs in large oak vats with native yeasts and no temperature control, followed by long aging in large Slavonian casks. Bottled unfiltered and individually numbered, this IGT Toscana rivals top Brunello in pedigree and longevity.
