Travaglini is the only producer crafting this Amarone-style passito Nebbiolo in Northern Piedmont, and Il Sogno represents visionary winemaking. Grapes are dried for 100 days to concentrate their power, then slowly fermented before spending 36 months in Slavonian oak and another 10 months in bottle. The result is a wine of incredible depth—intense cherry, blackberry, and plum aromatics with balsamic nuance, fresh drive, and grippy tannins that showcase Gattinara's mineral character.
