Weingut Spreitzer’s 2021 Estate Riesling Trocken serves as the estate’s hallmark dry wine. Made from sustainably farmed young vines in Oestrich and surrounding Rheingau sites, it receives the same care as the estate's top vineyards. Bright and pure, the wine shows crushed rock minerality, citrus zest, and green apple with saline lift. Generous acidity yet approachable, it's their everyday expression with pedigree.

Fermented naturally in stainless steel and large German oak fuder, with extended lees aging and minimal filtration to preserve clarity and depth. Balanced and food-friendly, it works well with salads, light seafood, spicy dishes, or as a crisp aperitif.

Brothers Andreas and Bernd Spreitzer have embraced their wealth of resources to produce Rheingau Rieslings of incredible balance, a feat they liken to walking a tightrope. With a generational total of 379 years making wine, the Sprietzers have had plenty of practice.

Even with all the practice, great balance requires great vineyards. The Spreitzers own prime real estate throughout their sub-region of Oestrich, including the Lenchen vineyard and its most famous parcel, Eiserberg. The secret weapon of Lenchen is its series of underground streams, guaranteeing balance even in the hottest years, an asset in this age of climate change.

With these great terroirs and that generations-long attention to balance, the Spreitzer’s achieve some of the most delectable wines in the entire Rheingau, at once beautifully delicate and opulently concentrated.
