Elyse Winery has produced Zinfandel from Rutherford’s historic Morisoli Vineyard since 1987. The 2016 vintage is a field blend led by 81% Zinfandel, with Alicante Bouschet, Carignane, and others from vines dating back to 1902. The site’s gravelly soils and deep roots yield concentrated, structured fruit.

Fermented with native yeasts and aged 11 months in 29% new American oak, the wine offers dark berry richness with earthy spice and firm, dusty tannins. A classic Napa expression of old-vine Zin.
