I love the store and the tastings, but there is often a lot of confusion surrounding purchasing wines at the time of the tastings. I’ve had a couple of issues and sadly, the most recent issue involved two of my items being resold because I was having them held at the store. I think you all should place some more organized policies around purchases at the time of tastings. Otherwise, everything is great with the client
experience.

My experiences at FlatIron SF have been incredible to say the least. More recently, I reached out for their help to find wines that they didn’t have in stock by a certain producer that they once carried. Josh not only helped me track down what they had but was able to offer more than what I expected in terms of availability, and then delivered the bottles within a day. It was incredibly accommodating and he went back-and-forth with me several times just to make sure that I got what I needed at very fair prices. This sort of concierge service is fairly rare in my opinion. I already think they have one of the more thoughtful and vast selections in the Bay Area, but to pair that with the customer service they provide makes them second to none.

I absolutely love their beverage selection. They offer an impressive variety, including some true hidden gems at very reasonable prices. Most of my purchases are made online, and I’ve consistently been impressed by how quickly my orders are processed and ready for pickup.

The store itself is fantastic—thoughtfully organized with an intuitive layout that makes browsing enjoyable and finding what you need effortless. Overall, it’s one of the best shopping experiences for anyone who appreciates a great selection and excellent service.

Great place, lot of wine selections.
It is on the side of hotel entrance and hard to find, but if you ask the hotel, they will tell you.

Good selection, but they’re pretty snobby. 15$ for a wine tasting is pretty extreme as well.

Unparalleled selection for SF, especially if you want European wines. They have an incredibly knowledgeable staff as well. My one request would be a way to get an alert if a rare bottle comes back in stock. I could spend hours here!

I went to buy a bottle of non-alcoholic red, and chatted with the owner. She was so helpful & nice & honest!

She told me that non-alcoholic reds don't taste very good, and that non-alcoholic whites are better. When I told her I only wanted a red, she gave me a 10% discount since she thought I'd be disappointed 🤣.
