Customer Reviews

Flatiron has such a deep selection, come back from a trip to Etna……they have a great selection of top producers and obscure guys, come back from Greeks isles, assyrtikos from hatzidakis on the shelf.

Great service & selection. Very knowledgeable staff. Super attractive store.

Not only is the inventory expansive from budget to higher-end wines, the prices are competitive. And, the team (and Josh) are extremely courteous, patient and friendly. Kudos!

Good collection

Flatiron is great! I have found some hard-to-find spirits there and have been able to order online for pick up at the store. Really convenient and great location right off of Market. Love Flatiron!

Amazing wine selections and service.

Wine professionnal in France, I have been impressed by the breadth of countries and style available with France being "only" about 60% of the selection.

Domestic or international, the choice is comprehensive and Josh Shapiro and the team provided me plenty of interesting insights on the domestic markets as well as the image of French wines there.

Not to oneself : a fair share of the French wine available were at the same cost as in France, such as François Chidaine for exemple !

French wine selection is superior.

I love the store and the tastings, but there is often a lot of confusion surrounding purchasing wines at the time of the tastings. I’ve had a couple of issues and sadly, the most recent issue involved two of my items being resold because I was having them held at the store. I think you all should place some more organized policies around purchases at the time of tastings. Otherwise, everything is great with the client
experience.

we send 1000% trust to the shop

Loved the service and the wine!

Fantastic transaction! Thanks very much!

An understated location that belies a treasure of wine and champagne from around the globe. Thankful for their little bodega and I miss them already

Love your eclectic selection of California wines. Especially enjoy your carrying Ottavino Wines, Vaughn Duffy wines, Terah Wines and Waits Mast.

Fast shipping

Some very premium selections available but some affordable ones, too

Good selection of wines at fair prices. They source some interesting, hard to find European wines which I really appreciate. In addition, they are super helpful and are always responsive and willing to accommodate timing of my delivery requests, etc

very knowledgeable and helpful people, who make buying wine at delightful experience and adventure. I strongly recommend this store

Friendly, knowledgeable, wide selection, great prices. Flatiron is the grand slam in retail.

Excellent customer service and an amazing selection. You can just about find anything here. I highly recommend!

Great experience, very knowledgeable guidance from the team.

My experiences at FlatIron SF have been incredible to say the least. More recently, I reached out for their help to find wines that they didn’t have in stock by a certain producer that they once carried. Josh not only helped me track down what they had but was able to offer more than what I expected in terms of availability, and then delivered the bottles within a day. It was incredibly accommodating and he went back-and-forth with me several times just to make sure that I got what I needed at very fair prices. This sort of concierge service is fairly rare in my opinion. I already think they have one of the more thoughtful and vast selections in the Bay Area, but to pair that with the customer service they provide makes them second to none.

I absolutely love their beverage selection. They offer an impressive variety, including some true hidden gems at very reasonable prices. Most of my purchases are made online, and I’ve consistently been impressed by how quickly my orders are processed and ready for pickup.

The store itself is fantastic—thoughtfully organized with an intuitive layout that makes browsing enjoyable and finding what you need effortless. Overall, it’s one of the best shopping experiences for anyone who appreciates a great selection and excellent service.

Why must I enter a review. I said that I had a very positive experience dealing with Flatiron. Why isn't that enough?
