Domaine Sérol is a biodynamic leader in the Côte Roannaise, working high-altitude granite soils near the Loire’s upper reaches. “Champtoise” comes from a 2-ha parcel at 380–415m in Urfé, planted to Chenin Blanc. The site’s decomposed granite brings lift and salinity.

The 2023 was hand-harvested, direct-pressed, and fermented with native yeasts in 500L barrels. Aged 8 months on lees in wood and concrete, it’s dry and mineral-driven with firm acidity. A precise, mountain-style Loire Chenin from an unexpected source.
