Domaine Sérol is a biodynamic powerhouse in Côte Roannaise, led by Stéphane and Carine Sérol. Their 2023 Perdrizière comes from a 1.5 ha east-facing vineyard at 400 m, planted to Gamay Saint‑Romain on red, iron‑ and manganese‑rich gorrhe soils .

The wine is harvested by hand, partly whole‑cluster fermented using indigenous yeasts for 19 days, then aged 11 months in 60 hL wooden tanks before light filtration . With red fruit, spice, firm acidity and structured tannins, Perdrizière shows depth and tension. It’s a flagship cuvée known as the terroir benchmark in the region .
