Returns & Exchanges

We stand behind every bottle we sell.

  • If the wine is less than 10 years old and it is corked, you may return it to us for a full refund or exchange within 60 days of purchase. You must show us proof of purchase. We understand that you may not live near a shop and that it is difficult to ship open bottles of wine to us, so if there's any problem feel free to Contact Us and we'll work it out.
  • For wines older than 10 years, the consumer bears the risk of a faulty cork, but we accept returns of older bottles if the wine is faulty as a result of improper storage. Please come by the store or Contact Us if there is a problem.
  • We may, at our discretion and to the extent permitted by law, accept returns of unopened wines within 30 days of purchase if they were properly stored by the purchaser, subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.

"The 2020 Champoux Red Wine opens with an enticing mix of chalk dust, lavender and citrus zest before giving way to wild blueberry and confectionary spice scents. It's racy in style, with cooling acidity and graphite-tinged red berry fruit notes. This is vibrant and energetic despite its power and depth. The 2020s minerality comes forward through the crisp and pleasantly chewy finish as sweet tannins and a hint of white pepper lingers on. "Composed of 54% Merlot, 31% Cabernet Franc and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2020 Champoux Vineyard begins with a generous and focused nose with delightful red-fruited notions that sway with fresh, rich and spicy florals. Medium to full-bodied, the wine is spicy yet balanced with a fresh and plush mouthfeel, revealing balance and finesse with elegant oak tones, succulent acidity and lifting tannins. The wine concludes with a long, focused and spicy finish. Just over 3,700 bottles were filled after the wine for 22 months in 30% new French oak barrels." —Anthony Mueller

Andrew Will is the undisputed master of the Washington single-vineyard wine. Founder Chris Camarda’s Ciel du Cheval and Champoux bottlings have set the standard since his first vintage in 1989—and with credit to both Chris and his talented young son Will, who’s now at the helm, I’d argue this estate has achieved mastery on another front: elegant, graceful Washington Merlot. Once again through the prism of the single-vineyard wine, we can find a balance and tension sometimes lacking in New World expressions of this grape. We need only look up.
