An unpeated Highland malt just 12 miles from Glasgow, distilled at one of Scotland's slowest rates—4 to 5 liters per minute—to develop ester complexity that many faster distilleries can't achieve. Founded in 1833, Glengoyne has always refused to use peat, letting the barley and slow distillation speak for themselves. Aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks for 12 years at 43% ABV. The result is a clean, sweet, approachable whisky with more depth than its gentle exterior suggests.
