"The organic Chiappini 2021 Bolgheri Rosso Felciaino has generous dark fruit and blackberry with a tarry note at the end. This blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc is medium rich and nicely intense. There is a floral tone that emerges nicely with dark petals, rose hip or praline. Once the wine hits the palate, you get cassis, black cherry and a return of that smoky note. Some 28,000 bottles were released at a very competitive price point." -Monica Larner
