Domaine Carrette farms this steep, south-facing 0.2 ha parcel in En Servy, planted in 1971 on marl-limestone near the Roche de Solutré. Now classified as 1er Cru, it yields small, concentrated fruit. Hervé and Nathalie Carrette craft the wine with native yeast and élevage in 228L Burgundian barrels, one-third new.

The 2022 vintage was warm and dry, producing a rich but balanced Chardonnay. Full malolactic and 11 months on lees add silk and weight. Bottled unfiltered, this is a serious, age-worthy white.
