DuMOL spent decades refining a precise, restrained, vineyard-driven style through a long stretch when much of California was chasing power instead, and Wester Reach is the bottle that lets you meet that house style without hunting down a single-vineyard cuvee. It is a deliberate tour of the Russian River Valley rather than a leftover blend, drawing on four of the appellation's sub-districts -- warmer valley floor through the coolest high-elevation ridges out toward the coast -- from sites the estate has planted, farmed and harvested for over twenty-five years. The 2024 leans on Peters Sundance Ranch and Sonoma Coast-adjacent Heintz Ranch for the bulk of the blend, with Flora Marie and Lorenzo filling in, and sees about a third new French oak across a year in barrel before a few months settling in tank. At 13.5% alcohol it is built for tension rather than weight. Drink it on release or hold it a good decade.

Returns & Exchanges

We stand behind every bottle we sell.

If the wine is less than 10 years old and it is corked, you may return it to us for a full refund or exchange within 60 days of purchase. You must show us proof of purchase. We understand that you may not live near a shop and that it is difficult to ship open bottles of wine to us, so if there's any problem feel free to Contact Us and we'll work it out.
For wines older than 10 years, the consumer bears the risk of a faulty cork, but we accept returns of older bottles if the wine is faulty as a result of improper storage. Please come by the store or Contact Us if there is a problem.
We may, at our discretion and to the extent permitted by law, accept returns of unopened wines within 30 days of purchase if they were properly stored by the purchaser, subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.
