"The 2000 Langoa-Barton is quite upfront on the nose, delivering lush black fruit, menthol, boysenberry and cedar, opulent for the vintage and quite precocious. The palate is lightly spiced and very cohesive, with saturated tannins and fine acidity, quite backward for a 2000 and less rustic than some of the millennials.
