A Loire Valley native, but not from a winemaking family, Benoit Courault is a young vigneron beloved by the natural wine scene. Eschewing chemicals in the vines and in the cellar, and employing a horse for plowing and other manual tasks, Benoit’s philosophy harkens to a time past. His wines are supple, vibrant and charming, and we are particularly impressed by his ability to transmit terroir through the glass.
