Bellisle Mondotte is a small Saint-Emilion producer with great real estate – vineyards on sloping clay/limestone soils located right between superstars Tertre-Roteboeuf and La Mondotte.

But while the estate shares top-notch terroir with those famous Saint-Emilion addresses, its style of winemaking is a little different; Bellisle Mondotte's wines are less turbo-charged than those of either neighbor.

Sounds good to us! The estate is also committed to good farming, being certified organic since 2013. The viticulture and winemaking are run by the same people who make another one of our favorite Right-Bank Bordeaux wines, Château Belgrave à Pomerol
