A modern unsung hero of Saint-Estephe. The vineyards of Chateau Picard and Chateau Beausejour were combined in 1992 by Jean-Claud Rouzaud, head Oenologist for Louis Roederer Group. Once purchased he returned the vineyards to higher quality production by more rigorous pruning and thinning as well as resuming manual harvesting.
