Domaine Cottenceau is a dedicated grower in Givry, producing refined, terroir-driven Pinot Noir. Their 2022 “Champ Pourot” hails from clay–limestone soils on a single, elevated vineyard block, giving structure and clarity.

Fermented naturally with delicate extraction and aged in neutral oak barrels to preserve freshness. Silky and expressive, it’s ideal with roast poultry, pork, or mushroom-forward dishes.

Left Domaine Cottenceau

Maxime Cottenceau's family has been growing and selling off its grapes in Montagny for generations. After spending three years with Vincent Dureuil, he decided, in 2018, to start making and bottling his own wines. They are finally available here in the United States.

Stylistically, the wines echo Dureuil-Janthial’s depth, detail and cut, but there is a bit more power, and a bit more opulence — that’s Montagny's influence.
