This was one of the first wineries that influential importers Jenny & Francois started working with over 20 years ago, and it is still very much going strong. Owner and winemaker Magali Terrier is originally from Beaujolais, but after several different jobs in the wine industry she fell in love with this property that directly overlooks the Mediterranean Sea, halfway between Montpellier and the Spanish border.

The warm, sunny days are balanced with cooler, dry winds and the maritime climate. It’s a perfect place for farming without chemicals, and indeed Magali has been biodynamic from the beginning. She is also blessed with old vines, and they are all tilled by, you guessed it, two donkeys! Actually it is now three, but too late to change the name of the domaine.
