Alexander Schregel Riesling Lorch Kapellenberg 2022 is a dry, mineral-driven Riesling from the steep slate slopes of Lorch, in the western Rheingau. Winemaker Alexander Schregel represents a new generation in the region—farming organically and crafting wines with minimal intervention to highlight site expression. The Kapellenberg vineyard lies along the Rhine’s cooler, wind-exposed bends, where slate and quartzite soils yield Rieslings of precision and vibrant acidity. The grapes were hand-harvested, spontaneously fermented with native yeasts, and aged on the fine lees for added texture.
