Formed as a passion project between New York sommelier Patrick Cappiello and California winemaker Pax Mahle of Wind Gap and Pax Wine Cellars, Monte Rio Cellars is the California table wine that We've all been waiting for. Created with affordability and deliciousness in mind, these wines pay homage to undervalued and misunderstood grapes of the Golden State.

They have a simple philosophy when it comes to vineyard sourcing: to find and harvest ripe, healthy grapes, with balanced acids and sugars, which require little to no additions in the winery. All grapes are hand harvested and from organic/sustainable vineyards.
