Ivan Nareklishvili only started his little winery in 2015, also in Kakheti, but is already making some of the most intense and interesting Georgian wines we've had from there in a a while. The three wines below feature two new grapes, Khikhvi and Mtsvane, as well as a one-of-a-kind dry rosé from a super rare pink version of Rkatsiteli. These are slightly more expensive than your average Georgian wine, but so worth it for their boundary-pushing pleasures. Methods are all traditional, with fermentation and aging in quevri minimal intervention is the name of the game, but all wines are clean as a whistle with so much character.
