Serafin Père & Fils is a very traditional domaine in Gevrey-Chambertin. Christian Serafin and his father Staislaus grew the grapes and Christian made the wines. He never used a lot of new oak and the vinification was made using indigenous yeasts. The farming is lutte raisonee. The property dates back to the 1940s and the wines have been estate bottled since the 1980s.
