This is a producer that has operated in Charasco since modern-day Barolo was born in the 19th century, and now makes a Barolo from Charasco’s sole Cru, Mantoetto, using very traditional methods. Some of the vines are quite old, and they include the rare Rose variety (that close relative of Nebbiolo producing intensely aromatic wines).
