Andreola Prosecco Valdobbiadene Col del Forno Brut 2025

One of the driest and raciest wines Andreola makes, from a single four-hectare hillside in the Rive di Refrontolo, one of the 43 named cru sites in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG where the slopes are steep enough that everything has to come off by hand. The vines are 30 to 40 years old at around 250 meters, growing on marl and clay conglomerates shaped by karst activity over the last hundred thousand years, and the clay depth keeps water available through the summer. Andreola is a family estate in Col San Martino working dozens of tiny parcels across these hills, and it has staked its reputation on bottling the individual rive rather than blending them away. The base wine rests in steel for at least six months before a tank refermentation of 30 to 40 days, and it is finished Brut at seven grams of sugar so the wine stays taut. Proof that Valdobbiadene can be a place, not just a category.

Tasting Notes & Food Pairings

Perfect Pairings

Fried seafood, prosciutto and melon, salty potato chips, or a dozen oysters. It has enough cut to carry from the aperitivo hour into the first course.

Tasting Profile

Hawthorn, wisteria, green apple and citrus on the nose. Light-bodied and genuinely dry, with creamy, persistent bubbles and a sapid, mineral snap. Clean and crisp on the finish.
