Beaujolais granite filtered through a Jura sensibility: this negociant bottling is built around Gamay grown on granitic soils, with Chardonnay in the blend, though Ganevat's recipes and fruit sources shift from year to year. It ferments with indigenous yeasts and is bottled unfined, unfiltered and without added sulfur, which is why it often arrives with a faint spritz — the mark of a wine left largely to its own devices. Anne Ganevat runs this side of the domaine, buying organically farmed fruit and applying the same minimal-intervention approach that made her brother's estate wines a cult item. Serve it cold-ish, in a tumbler if you like, with something salty.

Returns & Exchanges

We stand behind every bottle we sell.

  • If the wine is less than 10 years old and it is corked, you may return it to us for a full refund or exchange within 60 days of purchase. You must show us proof of purchase. We understand that you may not live near a shop and that it is difficult to ship open bottles of wine to us, so if there's any problem feel free to Contact Us and we'll work it out.
  • For wines older than 10 years, the consumer bears the risk of a faulty cork, but we accept returns of older bottles if the wine is faulty as a result of improper storage. Please come by the store or Contact Us if there is a problem.
  • We may, at our discretion and to the extent permitted by law, accept returns of unopened wines within 30 days of purchase if they were properly stored by the purchaser, subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.

Tasting Profile

Raspberry, red cherry and cranberry with a little spice. Light-bodied and crunchy, with barely any tannin, bright acidity and a saline, orange-peel finish.
