A relatively new release from the Lafite-owned Pauillac estate, this is one of the rare whites to emerge from a famous Left Bank red-wine chateau. Because Pauillac AOC permits only reds, the wine is bottled as Bordeaux Blanc - a Semillon-led blend with Sauvignon Blanc, made with the same Domaines Barons de Rothschild precision behind the celebrated Duhart-Milon Pauillac. Fresh, mineral, and quietly serious. A curiosity worth knowing about.

Returns & Exchanges

We stand behind every bottle we sell.

If the wine is less than 10 years old and it is corked, you may return it to us for a full refund or exchange within 60 days of purchase. You must show us proof of purchase. We understand that you may not live near a shop and that it is difficult to ship open bottles of wine to us, so if there's any problem feel free to Contact Us and we'll work it out.
For wines older than 10 years, the consumer bears the risk of a faulty cork, but we accept returns of older bottles if the wine is faulty as a result of improper storage. Please come by the store or Contact Us if there is a problem.
We may, at our discretion and to the extent permitted by law, accept returns of unopened wines within 30 days of purchase if they were properly stored by the purchaser, subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.

"The 2021 Le Blanc de Duhart-Milon is a Sémillon-dominant blend produced from vines in the Anseilan sector that have been grafted over to white production. Unwinding in the glass with a gently reductive bouquet of gooseberry, citrus zest and wheat toast, it's medium to full-bodied, pure and racy, with a satiny attack, chalky structuring extract and a mouthwateringly mordant finish. It's refreshing to see Sémillon accorded the respect it deserves." —William Kelley

"Grassy, lemon yellow gold in the glass. A herbal and white stone fruited nose, ginger, flowers, apricot, melon, orange, lime and some green fruits. Bright and energising, lovely fresh acidity hits straight away - a sherbet-esque flavour but with a honeyed, toasted note too from the Semillon really giving different flavours and textures right now. Feels serious in the honeyed, waxy lemon, toast, buttery caramel but the acidity underneath is so great. A lovely potential for this. Ends chalky, flinty and clean, a gorgeous mineral grip. Succulent, fun, fresh, juicy and layered. I like this a lot. Interesting to see this project progress."
