Kontozisis Karditsa Roditis The Eyes of The Rabbit 2024

$2499

Where "Drop by Drop" is Kontozisis' fresh, no-skins take on Roditis, "The Eyes of the Rabbit" is the opposite — a full-on orange wine made from the same native Greek grape. The fruit gets 30 days of skin contact, ferments wild, and ages a month in amphora before bottling with minimal sulfur. The result is a deeply textured, copper-hued white with dried citrus peel, tea leaf, and stone-fruit pit, framed by gentle tannic grip. Kontozisis has been certified organic since 1991, one of the first in Greece — and this is their most expressive expression of Roditis.
