Tessier Winery Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir Saveria Vineyard 2021

From a privately owned vineyard, farmed and managed by Prudy Foxx. Clones 667, 777 and a little 115 were picked on 09/29/21 at 22 brix. The fruit was hand picked and sorted, 84% de-stemmed and left 16% whole cluster for native fermentation. 16 months aging in neutral French oak; un-fined and un-filtered. Burgundy red color with magenta hues. Aromas of Pomegranate, strawberry, cranberry along with bay leaves and fennel pollen. Soft tannins. Great balance.

Returns & Exchanges

We stand behind every bottle we sell.

  • If the wine is less than 10 years old and it is corked, you may return it to us for a full refund or exchange within 60 days of purchase. You must show us proof of purchase. We understand that you may not live near a shop and that it is difficult to ship open bottles of wine to us, so if there's any problem feel free to Contact Us and we'll work it out.
  • For wines older than 10 years, the consumer bears the risk of a faulty cork, but we accept returns of older bottles if the wine is faulty as a result of improper storage. Please come by the store or Contact Us if there is a problem.
  • We may, at our discretion and to the extent permitted by law, accept returns of unopened wines within 30 days of purchase if they were properly stored by the purchaser, subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.

Another success story of scientist turned winemaker - Kristie Tacey from Tessier winery had her first career in researching proteins pathways before finding her path to wine. Tessier is the result of Kristie’s passion for the art and science of winemaking. She began handcrafting small lots of Pinot Noir and has added Grenache, Viognier, Cabernet Franc, Gamay Noir, Riesling and Mourvedre. Kristie’s appreciation of French wines — especially those from Burgundy and the Loire and Rhone valleys — has shaped her wine making choices.
