Returns & Exchanges

We stand behind every bottle we sell.

If the wine is less than 10 years old and it is corked, you may return it to us for a full refund or exchange within 60 days of purchase. You must show us proof of purchase. We understand that you may not live near a shop and that it is difficult to ship open bottles of wine to us, so if there's any problem feel free to Contact Us and we'll work it out.
For wines older than 10 years, the consumer bears the risk of a faulty cork, but we accept returns of older bottles if the wine is faulty as a result of improper storage. Please come by the store or Contact Us if there is a problem.
We may, at our discretion and to the extent permitted by law, accept returns of unopened wines within 30 days of purchase if they were properly stored by the purchaser, subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.

Oakville is the undisputed epicenter of American Cabernet Sauvignon. If you were to throw a dart at a map of Napa Valley's greatest terroir, you would inevitably aim here. It is a small stretch of the valley famous for producing world-renowned, highly allocated wines that cost a small fortune. Yet, quietly nestled in the heart of this high-rent district is Turnbull, an estate that has been farming some of the most prime dirt in California since 1979 without ever losing its soul or its sense of value.

Turnbull’s secret weapon is its land ownership. While many modern Napa brands purchase fruit on the open market, Turnbull is completely estate-grown. For their Oakville Reserve, winemaker Peter Heitz has the luxury of pulling from their crown jewel vineyards, including the famed Fortuna and Leopoldina sites on the eastern red dirt of the Oakville bench, as well as their home vineyard situated right across the highway from Opus One. This allows Heitz to craft a wine that is the absolute essence of the appellation, blending plush valley-floor fruit with the muscular, iron-rich grip of the hillside.
