Jérôme Fornerot is a sixth-generation grower in Saint-Aubin, producing precise, terroir-driven whites. “Champ-Tirant” is a village-level parcel on stony, limestone soils just below the 1er Crus. The 2023 vintage reflects the site’s altitude and exposure with natural tension and lift.

Grapes were hand-harvested, fermented with native yeasts, and aged in older French oak barrels. The wine is dry and mineral, showing citrus zest and subtle stone fruit. A focused, elegant Saint-Aubin that overdelivers for its appellation.

But because of all those Burgundy price hikes, it has finally become economically feasible for them to produce and bottle their own wines. In fact, they are now able to invest in a larger and better wine-making facility, promising even higher quality in the future.
